Jakarta Provincial Government through Bina Marga Agency keeps controlling aerial cables on several Jakarta roads through implementation of the Integrated Utility Network Facility (SJUT) program.

Based on Jakarta Bina Marga's data, aerial cable controlling has been done along 51,254 meter or 51 kilometer up to November 29, 2024.

"The SJUT program is part of the transformation of Jakarta's urban planning towards international standards," Heru said, Monday (12/2).
Heru explained that the controlling of messy aeria cables on several roads supports Jakarta's image as a global city with organized utility infrastructure.
According to him, relocating aerial cables underground creates a neater environment and prevents potential hazards from hanging or damaged cables.
Heru added that his side also keeps cooperating with utility network owners as a progressive step. He assessed that the cooperation is important.
"Hopefully the good cooperation will smooth the SJUT program to give better city aesthetic and provide better communication services," Heru stated.
